Where can I find answers to all my running questions?
We are here for you in many ways, so let’s look at the three different ways to get in touch.
- If you have a specific question and would like the input from one of the coaches, then use this Q & A questions form and one of the coaches will answer you on an upcoming Q & A video release.
- For Super Achievers there is a live chat function with the coaches Monday – Friday 8am-12pm (GMT).
What is the ARC Index?
The ARC Index measures how well your day aligns with your personal goals and tracking choices. Every area you’ve chosen to track (running, strength, nutrition, sleep, and more), contributes to your daily score. The closer you stay to your targets, the closer your ARC Index moves toward 100.
As you progress through your training plan, your daily scores appear within the ARC Training Hub, alongside your overall plan score. Together, they reflect how consistently you’re showing up for yourself, because a high ARC Index isn’t just about performance; it’s about discipline, accountability, and progress toward your goals.
As a Member of Achiever Running Club, how do I choose and change plans and tracking options?
All plans are chosen on the member profile page in the “Your Training Preferences” card. Here you choose what you want to track and you choose your plan.
As a Super Achiever, you can choose from a wide variety of plans covering all distances and abilities. You can also choose to log any or all of the 6 tracking options.
As a Basic Achiever you can choose from any of the Beginner Level plans and you can track Running, Strength and Conditioning and Mindset activities.
As a Member of Achiever Running Club, how do I choose and change plans and tracking options?
Much of the training we have here revolves around RPE, but what is it? RPE stands for Rate of Perceived Effort. It is a personal measure of how hard you are working. Training by pace or heart rate zones can vary greatly day by day which is why RPE is a much better guide for most of us when tackling our running and workout goals.
An RPE rating of 10 is absolute maximum effort. In other words, you couldn’t have worked even slightly harder. This was everything you had. Whereas a RPE of 5 will usually be considered relatively comfortable and anything below represents varying degrees of easy.
Learn to tap into your RPE and you will not only become a better runner, but you will get to know your body and understand how your body adapts and improves in all your activities.
How do I earn points to get to the next level on the site?
There are dozens of ways to collect points . Ultimately you are rewarded for being an active member of the site. Logging in regularly, contributing to the community chats, reading and liking blog posts are all great ways to accumulate points.
Another way is by taking and completing courses, commenting and offering advice to others is hugely helpful to others and therefore we encourage that by offering additional points for these things.
Where can I find the blog articles that I have favorited?
All of the articles that you have favorited will be listed in your members profile page.
These are not the same as articles that you like. You are rewarded with points for likes and comments on articles, but these won’t show up on your members profile page like your favorites.
Will you have move plans available?
Absolutely! We will be introducing plans and courses each month. There will be more race specific training plans and courses as we grow and improve.
If there is a specific plan that you think is missing from the available choices, drop us a quick note and our coaches will make one available.
